Stacey McKnight was 12 when she first performed on the amateur stage. This sparked a love for theatre that continues today.
Over the years, she has been in all aspects of the theatre, including in writing, directing, choreographing, set design and construction, and acting.
She and her husband have been residents of Butts County since 2007. Frustrated with traveling up to 60 miles to see quality live performances, Stacey saw an opportunity when a new Performing Arts Center opened in Jackson. She took this as her cue to start a local community theatre which would cultivate local talent and bring professional-quality productions closer to home.
